I’ve only used this twice and I got this request to write a review. It worked great both times. After I use it awhile, I will update this.

I love these things. They are beautiful, heavy, clean well, cook well and evenly. I bought two sets and gave one to my mother. They are great.

We received our new pans in a timly fashion, HOWEVER the very first pan leaked water out of the handle rivets. Amazon did a great job replacing this set. Since we could not boil an egg with the water leaking onto the stove, we decided to fry a few scambled eggs. We cleaned the pans with mild soap and rinsed with water, toweled dry and sprayed the bottom with pam. WE also put a little margerine in for the onion to start before the eggs. Breakfast eggs we like done very lite, so low was used on the burner. The eggs just stuck everywhere, especially on the side where the pam was not sprayed!
Okay we thought maybe not enough oil or pam was used so the next day oatmeal was prepared in the sauce pan and I was not able to serve all the contents due to my resistance to scrape food off or out of the pan , or should I say the resistance of the pan to give up the oatmeal!
These pans do not deserve a rating. I have been cooking for over 40 years and have never used such poor quality of cookware. If you do not like to soak pans and waste your time cleaning, then PLEASE look elsewhere!!

These are very high quality pans and are a great bargain. We switched from non-stick to these and after an adjustment period I find them overall much nicer to cook with. They heat quickly and amazingly evenly, and hold heat very well. There are always a few dishes for which it is easier to use non-stick but for most things these are much better than non-stick (such as browning and caramelizing), and not difficult to clean. Plus we should be able to have them forever, unlike our old non-stick set which starting peeling. The handles stay amazingly cool. Only one complaint, which is that the handles on the lids can get quite hot; however there isn’t a way to avoid that if you want metal handles, which I did since the plastic handles I’ve had in the past break. We are very pleased with this set as they are quite comparable to sets we saw for three or four times the $.

I bought this cookware set to replace our old non-stick cookware. I was concerned with all I had read about non-stick cookware releasing toxins, especially when nicked and scratched, so I decided to go with this set. I am so happy that I did as I love this set of pans! They cook so evenly, no more hot spots. I’ve noticed that when I am cooking pasta, I do not have boiling over problems. I suspect it has something to do with the tapered shape of the saucepan. I have not had any discoloring problems like some of the reviewers. They clean up nicely and look great after 2 months of use.
The only complaint I have is about the lid handles. It would have been nice if they had a silicon grip on them to keep them cool. The metal handles get too hot to touch and a pot holder is necessary to grasp the lid handle with. Other than that, I have only praise for this cookware set.
